I called the front desk to see if they had anything and they told me “no, that they don’t provide that to anyone”. Thankfully I had my phone on me so after 20 minutes of trying every option on the phone directory, I finally reached someone who was able to come get us.Ģnd Issue - I had brought cereal cups and milk for my kids to eat but then realized we had forgotten spoons or any kind of utensil for them to use. There wasn’t even a fire alarm thing to pull if there had been a fire. I had 3 little ones with me (all 8 and under) and I was in a complete panic because if there had been a fire, THERE WAS NO WAY FOR US TO ESCAPE. Without a room key, we couldn’t retrieve the elevator to get us back to where we needed to go for a new key. The first floor is for the pool, the gym, and a board room and all doors were locked. I let the kids push the button on the elevator, not realizing they had pushed Floor #1 instead of #2, so when we stepped out it was on the wrong floor. We accidentally left our key card in the room when we stepped out in the hallway to the vending machines, so we had to take the elevator downstairs for another one.
1st Issue - I had to come to Lake Charles for a doctor appointment, so I booked a room for me and my kids to stay the night here.
